Ordained in 1956

In his 49 years of active ministry as Priest, Monsignor Angelle has served the church as a Catholic High School Principal, Vicar of Finance, Vicar General, Louisiana Catholic Conference Director, and Pastor.

During his last 10 years of active ministry as Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Lafayette, Louisiana, he led his parish family into becoming a model parish for whom stewardship has become “a way of life.”

On October 26, 1998, he retired from active ministry in the Diocese of Lafayette. Since then, Msgr. Angelle has been presenting missions, speaking at national, regional and diocesan conferences throughout the United States.

Educational Background

In addition to his studies in Philosophy (BA), Education (BS), Theology, Scripture, Sacrament and Pastoral Ministry (MS), Msgr. Angelle also has extensive education in Chemistry (MS) and Mathematics (MA).
